Install Process
How to Get a Level 2 EV Charger Installed at My House?
Initial Quote
The first step to getting a Level 2 charger installed in your home is to have your home assessed by a certified electrician. The electrician will discuss with you the following areas:
- Any necessary upgrades needed to your electrical panel (A Level 2 EV chargers requires a dedicated 240 Volt Circuit).
- The charging speed you would like from your EV charger.
- The location on your property you would like to charge your EV.
- The cost of installation including any upgrades to the house electrical panel, EV Charger if not already purchased, Misc. parts, and labor.
- Once the assessment is complete the electrician will give an estimate for how long the installation will take to complete.
The Installation
Once you have determined what options you want for your EV charging station your electrician can begin the installation. Most installations can be done on the same day as the quote.
